Brzy poznává, že vypadat jako princezna tak těžké není, nejsložitější je chovat se tak a nezapomínat na to, že nejdůležitější je mít dobré srdce. Díky pomoci svých přátel tak zjistí, že velkorysost, dobrota, věrnost, upřímnost a elegance jsou tím, co z ní může skutečnou princeznu udělat. Ke všemu navíc vlastní amulet z Avaloru, díky kterému si může povídat se zvířaty. Samozřejmě je v tom háček, protože amulet vykoval zlý čaroděj Cedric, který jej chce získat pro sebe a použít k ovládnutí království...
