Risen 2: Dark Waters
Risen 2: Dark Waters is a pirate-themed action RPG set in the world filled with numerous fantasy creatures. It’s the sequel to Risen that follows and expands its story a little. Playing as a partly customizable character you need to help Patty, a female pirate from the original game, to find her father and save the world from Titans, who intend to destroy everything. Risen 2 features a character development system where you can upgrade five characteristics. You can focus on either melee combat or use an amount of gunpowder weaponry. Another way is to develop your black magic skills. You can also upgrade the level of damage your attacks make and learn tricks to complete missions stealthily. A huge variety of abilities allows you to combine different skills in the way suitable for the preferred playstyle. To develop your character, you need Glory that is gained from completing quests, exploration and killing enemies. Some abilities can be upgraded with special items or through training with master characters.
Cortex Command
Cortex Command is a 2D pixel art tactical game. The story is set in the future where humans united with machines so they can send their brains everywhere in the universe. Since then humans explore other planets, interact with aliens and mine gold. You play as one of these brains that are settled on an unnamed planet and needs to survive there. As a brain you must complete multiple missions that include self-defense, exploring dangerous parts of the planet, searching for elements of the mechs and so on. There are several factions in the game; each of them has different units you can use to fulfill your plans. The environment is fully destructible and provides you with gold and other resources to protect your brain and attack the opponent’s base. The game features a turn-based strategic campaign along with a four-player multiplayer mode. Cortex Command can also be easily modified with several in-game editors.
Cry of Fear
Cooperative horror games can work. It’s achieved either through building a game with a constant threat to all players or if it’s a game mode that adds horror elements or atmosphere to already existing multiplayer game. Originally developed as a Half-Life mod, Cry of Fear is a free-to-play horror game, that has single-player and multiplayer modes. Players take control of Simon Henriksson that finds himself after a car accident in a dark city overrun by monsters. Now Simon has to explore the city and find the source of the evil. This take on a psychological horror introduces several mechanics in order to make the gameplay challenging, Cry of Fear can be played in single-player and multiplayer with three other players, which doesn’t change the events of the campaign. Players have limited inventory space, only six slots to manage their healing items and weapons. But, characters are allowed to dual-wield items, meaning that player is capable of finding the combination of action items for specific game sections or specific team role players might take in multiplayer. Similarly to Silent Hill series, in order to progress players will have to solve puzzles while city swaps between “safe” and “nightmare” modes.

Persona 4 Golden
Persona 4 Golden is the jRPG and the remake of the Persona 4, released four years after the original. This is the fifth part of Persona series which is at the same time a sub-series to an even bigger franchise called Shin Megami Tensei. The remake is released exclusively for PS Vita handheld. ###Gameplay There is a similar pattern to all Persona games: the gameplay is divided into the usual school life and the underworld dungeon crawler part. During the first sections of the game, the player controls the protagonist and examines the city, transits between location and forms Social Links with the other students. The underworld part includes distorted location from the common life which the protagonist must explore with his squad. During the exploration, there are multiple random encounters and boss battles involved. ###Story The story takes place in Inaba — fictional city. The main characters explore the serious of murders bizarrely to find out, what happened and who is behind those killings. During their investigations, the team comes across a unique ability to summon their inner selves called personas. ###Golden version The new character —Marie with the individual story arc was added into the expanded version as well as an internet connection allowing one to get help in the battles. Also, minor improvements were introduced into anime videos and lines in the game.
Doom 3: BFG Edition
BFG Edition is an updated re-release of the 2004's Doom 3, a part of Doom series. ###Changes from Doom 3 BFG Edition features improved graphics and sound, two expansion packs, and certain updates that alter the gameplay. It introduced checkpoints that automatically save the player’s progress. There are slight changes in the controls, as this version doesn’t allow the use of hotkeys. This edition also includes a copy of the original Doom in its Ultimate version. ###Plot The plot is identical to Doom 3. The game is set on Mars in the 22nd century. The player controls a nameless space marine (nicknamed "Doomguy" by the fans). His task is to defeat the demons of Hell that invaded the Delta Labs research facility. Doom 3 features the series' trademark violence, monsters, and black humor. ###Expansion packs BFG Edition includes two expansion packs. The Resurrection of Evil was previously released in 2005. The plot, set two years after Doom 3, follows a team that comes to a space station and discovers the hellish Artifact. This expansion introduces new weapons, such as The Grabber and the double-barreled shotgun, as well as additional multiplayer maps. The Lost Mission is a new story expansion that was not previously released. It allows you to play as a marine from the Bravo squad that was only mentioned in the original Doom 3. The protagonist's goal is to descend into Hell to find and destroy a teleportation device that demons are going to use to invade Earth.

Super Hexagon
The game from the independent developer Terry Cavanagh. The final version is based on the prototype gameplay from the same developer. A player is a miniature arrow that rotates around a central hexagon. The main task is to avoid collision with hexagon limits. The position of the limits varies depending on the difficulty level. The game is considered complete after player survives for 60 seconds. Everything moves with incredible speed and the task to keep up is not a simple one. The game increases the difficulty depending on how long the player lasted. The atmosphere of the game is already aggressive, there is a lack of an easy level of difficulty and rhythmic music and a constant screen-flickering. The combination will wake anyone. Initially, the game was released for mobile devices, after it was ported to the PC.

LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes
This sequel to LEGO Batman: The Videogame is set in the LEGO version of the DC Universe. It features trademark LEGO bricks aesthetics and comical portrayals of popular DC characters. ###Plot Set in the Gotham City, the story starts when Bruce Wayne is competing with Lex Luthor for an award. As Wayne is about to receive it, Joker and his cronies invade the ceremony. Bruce has to don the Batman's cape to stop and catch the villains. Soon it turns out that Luthor was behind the plan all along. He releases Joker and other supervillains, such as Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and Penguin, from Arkham Asylum to wreck chaos on Gotham City. In turn, Superman and other superheroes come to Batman’s help. ###Gameplay The game is set in an open world shown from the third person perspective. Over the course of the game, the player will control not only Batman but also a variety of LEGO versions of the famous DC superheroes and other characters. A total of 75 playable characters includes Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash, among others. Occasionally, the game will require the players to build objects, such as vehicles, using LEGO bricks to solve puzzles or access certain areas. The player can scavenge bricks from the fully destructible environment that is completely made of LEGO. ###Multiplayer The game allows two players to join forces in a local cooperative mode. It uses a split screen to allow full freedom for each player. There’s no online multiplayer.
Legend of Grimrock
For all your misdeeds, you are sentenced to die at the top of Mount Grimrock. No one ever returned from this gruesome prison alive, but you can try and be the first to escape. On the inside, Mount Grimrock is full of dungeons that can allow the prisoners to slowly descend to the earth level. The dungeons are filled with intricate traps to evade, puzzles to solve, and hungry monsters to fight in real-time mode. Legend of Grimrock has a strong old-school dungeon crawler feel to it, and its creators proudly admit that they were inspired by the traditional first-person RPGs like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder. The player assumes control over a party of four customizable characters that are divided into three traditional D&D classes (fighter, rogue, and mage) and four quite non-traditional races (besides Human, there are Minotaur, Lizardman, and Insectoid). There's a bit of Portal to Legend of Grimrock, in that the prisoners are instructed by a disembodied and unreliable voice that promises them a cheerful party if they make it through the dungeon. Your party can also stumble upon records left by a previous prisoner, Toorum, which don't really inspire hope. There's an achievement that unlocks Toorum as a playable character.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is a fantasy role-playing game, a remake of the original 1998 release. ###Plot The plot follows a player-created character in the world of Forgotten Realms, mainly in the location known as the Sword Coast. Set out on a quest for vengeance and resolving a crisis, the hero finds many friends and enemies, and ultimately, reveals his origin and the circumstances of the game’s introduction. ###Gameplay The player can choose from different classes and in-game races, each with their advantages and disadvantages, and equip the corresponding gear to utilize the character’s skills of choice further. The role-playing system in the game is rich with dialogues and interactions with NPCs, as they often provide valuable information, quests or items. Combat in Baldur’s Gate is made through real-time actions and planning in pause mode, allowing players to create different strategies for more tough encounters. ###New in enhanced edition The remake brought various bugfixes and overhauls for current-gen gaming systems, allowing for bigger screen resolutions and overall higher quality of graphics while retaining the key gameplay features. New NPCs and related quests, as well as an expansion pack, were added to Enhanced Edition, and new difficulty levels were implemented, either for players who only want to immerse in the story, or those who prefer a real challenge to their skills.

Shank 2
The direct sequel to Shank (2010). The main protagonist, Shank, is a former mafia hitman. His home country is taken over by a military coup led by ruthless General Magnus, and Shank has no choice but to fight the regime's militia. There's also a second protagonist, Shank's childhood friend Corina. She can be played in several story missions, as well as in a newly introduced multiplayer survival mode. Corina's abilities are slightly different from that of Shank's, her moves are swifter, however, her attacks deal less damage. The game is played as a 2D side-scroller. To move forward, Shank and Corina have to defeat all enemies they encounter, using three types of weapons: piercing them with knives, smashing with a club or shooting with a gun. The weapons can be switched on a fly during the action, thus allowing a variety of combos. The gameplay has slightly changed since the original game: blocking is not allowed anymore, and dodging is the only option to evade damage. Like its predecessor, Shank 2 features a somewhat cartoonish visual style, that contrasts the quite bloody and grotesque action scenes.
Natural Selection 2
Natural Selection is a unique blend of RTS and first-person shooter that is complex enough it takes some time to master. Two teams -- elite marines Frontiersmen and vicious alien Khaara -- compete against each other on robust maps. The number of them is limited only by the play imagination: the game features compelling level editor, scripting and graphical tools to sculpt a unique adventure. FPS mechanic is simple -- you just point and shoot. The beauty of the game mechanics truly shines in intense multiplayer sessions: you have to come up with the cunning strategy to win against players in Khaara team. The goal: clear spreading alien infestation for marines and destroy power nodes for aliens. For a successful completion of all tasks, players need to choose a leader in their midst. The leader rank requires to come up with the cunning strategy as well as with operative control of players. Developers are still polishing their creation, so players are sure to get new patches and maps frequently.
Dear Esther
Dear Esther is a game that questions the very concept of a "game" as an entertainment. It is more of an art project that was originally started as a mod on the Source engine (the one Half-Life 2 is based on). The player assumes the role of a nameless and faceless character, a man, who wanders around a cold island at the shores of Scotland. When you enter certain parts of the island, the main character reads aloud his letters from the past, revealing his tragic story. All other characters, including the protagonists’ wife Esther, are only mentioned by the narrator and do not appear in the game. There's very little actual gameplay, and your goal as a player is to explore the island and discover as many parts of the backstory as possible. The goal of the game is to follow the story, immerse yourself in the experience and pass it through your emotions. Dear Esther is famous for its visual design and sound: there are gorgeous natural landscapes (the caves in particular), ambient sounds, and music. Melancholic mood and darkened landscapes befit the story that is all about loss and grief.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - A Criterion Game
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - A Criterion Game is an open world racing game and it is the nineteenth entry in the famous racing series. This is a reboot of the game with the same title released in 2005. In the game players have to select a car and compete against other racers in various events like Sprint races, Circuit, races and Speed runs. There is also an Ambush races mode, where players have to escape from the police as fast as possible. Like in the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted game, cops can start to pursue the player during the race and as well as in the original players have to compete against other racers and if succeeded they instantly get their cars. The game takes place in a regular city called Fairhaven, which has a beach and an industrial district as well as the main highway. The game was praised for those who are fans of Burnout series, especially because of its way of races where there is a start and finish of the race but players have an option to choose which way they want to go.
Pid
Pid is a puzzle platformer that follows a boy named Kurt who lives in the era of interstellar traveling. Accidentally he missed his planet on the way from school, and got stuck in the place that seemed to have no way out… Now he needs to find out what happens and return home. The gameplay is based on platforming mixed with Kurt’s ability to use so-called beams to pass through levels. These beams create tunnels without gravity that help to come over obstacles, solve puzzles and even fight enemies. More items become available on higher levels. The game only supports co-op on the same console, with no online multiplayer. While Pid has really hardcore gameplay, its visual style is calm and relaxing. The in-game world is full of secrets and collectibles that balance the gaming experience a little. Almost every NPC has something to tell you, so don't ignore dialogues that will shed some light on Pid's lore.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning takes place in a fictional region called Faelands which is one of the Kingdom of Amalur. There the immortal Fae of the Summer lives, but immortality means only that after death you will become something else in another body. There are five different regions of Faelands and four playable different races with three different class trees. The player starts as a "Fateless" being before the choosing between three classes. The combat of the game is timing based and similar to other action-role-playing games with addition of QTE elements during cutscenes. While in combat, player gains fate points and with required amount of them player can enter Reckoning Mode, which is a slow-motion berserk-like mode which lets player to quickly kill all the enemies. Not only a player has the ability to jump or swim on the water, but also can communicate, rob or kill NPCs, which has its consequences. It is said that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning mixes up ideas from games such as God of War and The Elder Scrolls series.
ORION: Prelude
Orion: Prelude is an indie first-person/TPS shooter set in the sci-fi universe where you together with your friends can experience an intense and cinematic battles. You can use many powerful weapons and vehicles. In the game you also have to compete with other players to accomplish goals of the missions and also explore gigantic worlds and destroy the devastating hordes of dinosaurs. The publisher was Activision, and the game was released on April 24, 2012, on PS3 and Xbox 360, and then, on July 24, 2012, on PC. Later, in August 2015, it was released on consoles of the next generation - PS4 and Xbox One. ###The setting The action takes place in a city called New York Zero, where an epidemic is raging, and its territory is divided into zones. The player will try on the role of Sergeant James Heller, who serves in the Middle East. It all begins at the moment when his wife calls and says that the epidemic has begun again in the city and they are at the epicenter with their daughter. Returning home, James discovers that his family is dead and now his task is to find someone who, in his opinion, is the culprit of these deaths. ###Key features Cruel and bloody Prototype 2 is the second game of the series. It seems that, compared to the first part, the gory feel is becoming bigger. The game is allowing you to run and jump almost anywhere and do whatever the player wants - anarchy! But despite the fact that the game takes place in an open world, a player can feel some linearity of events. According to lead designer Matt Armstrong, this was done purposefully so that the player would feel the development of the storyline and wouldn’t be afraid of too many options, and have the opportunity to open new territories gradually, thereby more effectively upgrading his character and immerse in the game’s universe.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is the third game in the series that was started by Giana Sisters, a 1987 platformer. The original game was a Super Mario rip-off, but, though the new game retained many of the old mechanics (such as defeating enemies by jumping on them), there are also novel gameplay ideas. You play as Giana, a girl who tries to rescue her sister Maria from the hands of an evil dragon Gurglewocky. Giana herself has two different personalities, a "Cutie" and a "Punk", that can be switched during the game. This change also dramatically alters the environment, allowing the player to shift between two dream worlds: one is a brightly colored garden, while other is a dark, nightmarish forest of giant mushrooms. In both worlds, the levels are nearly identical, despite the aesthetic change. But sometimes the game may demand you to switch to another world to move forward or to obtain a powerup that only exists in one of the worlds. A definitive feature of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is its music. The score was composed by Chris Hulsbeck, who worked with the original Giana Sisters, and metal band Machinae Supremacy. The soundtrack shifts between “traditional” and "heavy" versions of the same compositions to highlight the game's dual nature.
Realm of the Mad God
Realm of the Mad God is a multiplayer-only cooperative game in which teams of players hunt for monsters. The game uses a minimalistic retro-pixelated visual style with very simple animations. ###Plot According to the game's backstory, the mad god Oryx kidnapped the protagonists and transported them to his dark dimension. He is going to use them as food for his hordes of monsters. However, the protagonists have weapons, and they will fight back. ###Gameplay Most of the gameplay consists of slaying monsters with a fantasy version of firearms. The game uses the top-down third-person view. The player controls his or her character with the use of a keyboard (for movement) and a mouse (for aiming). The central part of each server is Nexus, a safe zone in which the players can trade. From Nexus they teleport to various realms where they receive quests that involve killing monsters. When they kill enough monsters, they may encounter a boss, and eventually Oryx himself. ###Characters There are fifteen character classes, but the new player has to start with only Wizard class available. Other classes that include Ninja, Samurai, Paladin, and Assassin, among others, will be eventually unlocked when the player gains more experience. An unusual feature of the Realm of the Mad God is the permanent death. When the player's character is killed, he or she will not respawn. All equipment of the dead character is also lost.

And certainly his character was influenced by the fact that his father is Lucifer himself, who on the sixth day after birth informed the boy that he had prepared many gifts for him. But to get these gifts, the boy needs a little work. Namely - to finish off everyone who lives with the boy in the same house or just inappropriately appeared next to him. This is a lot of people - twenty. Most different, from butlers and gardeners to reporters, priests and police. Papa Lucifer did not make any special demands, he was soft with his son - he did not order any special methods of murder, he agreed to any. But life is unpredictable, and the boy had to often retreat from simple scenarios, acting very ingeniously. On the other hand, he already had some of the unusual gifts - for example, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, the ability to subordinate someone else's will.
Worms Revolution
Worms Revolution is a Team17 game and the 18th part of Worms series, counting as many as 25 titles total. It is the turn-based game with a heavy accent on customizable characters and environment. The game features single- and multiplayer while giving the players an opportunity to play in cooperative with the hotseat feature allowing them to take turns one at a time. It is hard to say that "Worms" has any plot at all: there is barely even hints, which may prompt the player to understand the eternal conflict between the worms of a different color. The gameplay, on the other hand, is quite memorable: in fact so crucial that not only Worms have given birth to many other worms-like games but also created a whole genre: artillery tactical turn-based strategy. The primary goal of a team or a player is to eliminate the opponent(s). To achieve this goal, one must utilize a various range of weapons. They do not only damage the other worms but also transform the ground. While every turn grants the player with the ability to walk a certain amount of space and utilize one weapon — the landscape factor is crucial here.
Chaos on Deponia
The second game in the Deponia series is set in a whimsically cartoonish future world and is defined by its emphasis on characters and humor. Once again, the player controls Rufus, a selfish yet loveable rogue, who tries to leave his home planet Deponia and move to the luxurious space station Elysium. His cyborg girlfriend Goal got into trouble because of Rufus’s faults, and he has to save her. The plot, character interactions, and many jokes rely on the assumption that the player is already familiar with most characters from Deponia. However, in case you didn’t play the original game, there’s an introduction to familiarize you. Chaos on Deponia uses point-and-click controls, which are usually better suited for mouses and keyboards. However, the developers claim to make sure that playing with a console’s controller is just as fluid and natural. The analog stick stands in for the mouse, while the buttons control various actions Rufus can do to objects and other characters. Like in most adventure games, the protagonist has to use various items to solve puzzles. Those are quite complex right from the start, and there’s no growing difficulty over the course of Chaos on Deponia.
Receiver
Receiver was created for the 7-day FPS challenge to explore gun handling mechanics, randomized levels, and unordered storytelling. Armed only with a handgun and an audio cassette player, you must uncover the secrets of the Mindkill in a building complex infested with automated turrets and hovering shock drones. Warlock - Master of the Arcane
Welcome to the World of Ardania, the famous part of Majesty series. You play as Grand Mage that aims to build a powerful empire. The player is granted the ability to command armies, user magic on the battlefield and claim the title of one and only ruler of the Ardania. Warlock - Master of the Arcane -- is a take on a turn-based 4X grand strategy game that uses fantasy setting as one of its main gimmicks. Research and use many of the game’s spells and their combinations, conjure powerful enchantments and annihilate your enemy. The gameplay mimics Master of Magic that was released back in the 90s. The player can claim victory by killing all virtual opponents in the battles, by completing the Unification ritual, or by just killing one of the eight gods’ of Ardania Avatar. The choice is yours! There are a total of 5 DLC available for the game. They feature new races, modes, city buildings, and stories to enhance the gameplay even more.
Blacklight: Retribution
Blacklight: Retribution is a multiplayer only game in the cyberpunk setting, a direct sequel to Blacklight: Tango Down. Aside from the tutorial level and matches against bots with human teammates, there is no single player content. Current game modes include not only staples of the genre like Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and King of the Hill, but there is also a twist on the formula in case of Kill Confirmed mode. Players will have to kill enemies, but in order for the kill to count, it’s necessary to collect tokens from them. Teammates can pick up tokens from their friends in order to deny the kill points for the enemy team. Later added Onslaught and Siege modes brought more gimmick objective-based gameplay to the game. Total of sixteen maps of different sizes, complexity, and styles, which on top of the fully customizable equipment and appearances allows players to find unique look and playstyle, fitting for them.
Diablo III
The third Diablo returns you to the world of Sanctuary, once again invaded by the demons. Twenty years after the ending of Diablo II, a star has fallen on the city of New Tristram, spawning hordes of undead monsters that the player must defeat. As usual in Diablo series, the game has a trademark dark fantasy atmosphere and is mostly set in gloomy dungeons. The basic gameplay features are the same as in previous Diablo games, but there are many subtle changes. The player can choose one of six character classes (a seventh is available with an expansion). Each class has its unique abilities and class-specific quests. Unlike its predecessors, which used isometric 2D graphics, Diablo III uses 3D, however, it preserves the familiar top-down view. The dungeons are randomly generated and have destructible environments, thanks to the new graphics engine. There’s a new mechanic Skill Runes that is used to improve the character’s skills. Online multiplayer is available through Battle.net. There are both a co-op mode and a PvP mode called Brawling. The players can create hardcore characters who face permadeath if killed. Even in the single-player mode, Diablo II requires a stable internet connection, because of DRM restrictions.
Stronghold HD
Stronghold is a real-time strategy game, the first installment in Firefly Studio’s Stronghold series. Gameplay### The game takes place in Medieval Brittan of XI century. In most game modes, you take лrole of a Lord and have to develop your castle increasing its population, creating a stable economy and strong military while maintaining your popularity among the people. The game attends both the war and economics aspect. There are many types of resources in the game that can be divided into two groups: food and materials. The townspeople constantly consume food, so the player has to develop a stable production of meat, bread, apples, and cheese. Each of these types of food requires different structures and has different stages of production. Unlike most other RTS, each military unit requires a different set of recourse to be created. E.g., crossbowman needs a crossbow and leather armor; swordsman needs a sword and metal armor. The game has two campaigns: military and economic. In the latter, you don’t have to with other Lords, but only wild animals. Besides that, there is a free mode where you can develop your castle without any objectives or time restrictions and siege mode, separate scenarios that do not involve castle building but instead lets player attack or defend several historical castles.
Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers is a puzzle platform video game, which originally was released as a tech demo titled Tiny & Big: Up That Mountain in 2010. In the game players have to manipulate levels with a handful of tools to solve puzzles which are three dimensional. The main protagonist of the game is an inventor named Tiny, who has to get back his possession, which is a magical pair of briefs. These briefs were left to him by his disappeared grandfather from his rival Big who intends to rule the world. In the game, the player has the ability to use an invention of Tiny called The Tool which has three functions: a strong laser, a grappling rope for pulling objects and a rocket for pushing objects forward. This Tool is the main item in the game as it helps not only to solve various puzzles but also defends Tiny from attacks of Big. There is also an artificial intelligence named Radio who acts as a mentor, providing prompts and hints for the player in order to progress.
Halo 4
This is the first game from "Reclaimer Trilogy" - a new trilogy in the Halo series. The game begins four years after the events of Halo 3. The main character of the series, Master Chief, returns to the game. Halo 4 is the story of a cybernetic advanced human organism, Super Master Chief. Master Chief works in close connection with the virtual partner - artificial intelligence construct Cortana. Master Chief and Cortana meet with a menacing unknown during the exploration of an ancient civilization on another planet. The player acts as Master Chief, fighting with two main opponents. The first enemy is the remnants of the Covenant, the former military alliance of extraterrestrial races. Another opponent - Prometheans, mechanical warriors of the Forerunner empire. This new version of the game Halo offers a significant number of weapons, enemy creatures and game modes, missing in previous versions.
Age of Empires III: Complete Collection
Age of Empires 3 Complete Collection is a real-time strategy, a sequel to Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings. It includes the original game and two expansions: The Warchiefs and The Asian Dynasties, that add new playable civilizations. Like in previous titles in the series, in Age of Empires 3 you choose and develop a civilization through ages. To progress you gather and manage resources, explore the world, upgrade the technology and units. The series’ new feature is the Home City, a separate powerhouse that provides additional options for your development, including unique upgrades you can use during the match. The goal of the game is to overcome AI or online opponents. Age of Empires 3 features a political system. With each new age you choose politicians you want to support. They give you a certain bonus, for example, extra supplies or military units. Besides a free mode, the game has a campaign divided into three acts. Instead of step-by-step development you take control of a civilization at the set time period and complete tasks.
Zombie Driver HD
Zombie Driver HD is a single-player action game, combining elements of shooter and racing. The events set in a zombie apocalypse environment. ###Modes There are three game modes. The first one is a classical story mode. You play as a taxi driver, who is doing his work when the virus appears. You need to get to the military checkpoint, where you have to complete different missions: picking up survivors around the city, transporting something or even killing. You have to fight with the bosses – substantial mutated zombies. In the second mode, Blood Race, the player enters the brutal race. You can chase the cars and take them down. There are three distinct game types: classic race; eliminator, where the player needs to take down cars as many as he can; the endurance, in which you need to race with a ticking bomb in your vehicle. The last one is Slaughter. You try to survive on different arenas as long as you can. ###Gameplay As for the vehicles, there are 13 types of driving. It includes a fire truck, bulldozer, and tank. Every vehicle feels different, so you can taste it and choose the most convenient one. Upgrading the vehicle on the fly is possible. The game offers the variety of weapons. You can burn zombies with flamethrowers or attack with the launcher. You fight with crowds of zombies at a time, especially in the Slaughter mode. The types of enemies can be unusual: there are zombies dogs, for instance. Medical drops, scattered around the city, can help to manage your health.
The Dream Machine: Chapter 1 & 2
The Dream Machine is an award-winning adventure game about dreams and voyeurism. It's built by hand using materials such as clay, cardboard and broccoli. In Chapter 1 you play as Victor Neff, the husband in a young couple who've just moved into a new apartment. While trying to get settled in you discover that all is not as it seems in the quiet, unassuming apartment building... In Chapter 2, Victor goes to confront the landlord, Mr. Morton, only to find his apartment empty. Botanicula
Five unusual creatures living on the tree, trying to save the last seed from other creatures, arachnid parasites. Unique abilities of heroes: The protagonist, Mr. Lantern, a small orange creature, can illuminate dark spaces. If he eats enough luminous seeds before that. Mrs. Mushroom is able to create copies of herself and decrease to the size of her hat. Mr. Poppyhead is the strongest of the characters. Mr. Twig - can extend parts of his body - twigs. And he knows how to instantly grow flowers on his body. Mr. Feather - small in size, but can fly. Heroes can unite their abilities, helping each other. Advancement in the game requires studying the environment, solving puzzles and collecting items necessary to overcome obstacles. Heroes can interact with other creatures that occur in the game. Dustforce DX
Dustforce DX is the updated version of Dustforce, a platformer game where you need to clean up the world of dust. DX update added new maps and music. The tutorial was also redesigned to be friendlier to newcomers. In fact, DX version extends the game’s audience from a very hardcore to the medium one, giving more time to master the gameplay. As a part of a four-member team (with AI teammates or in co-op with real players) you go through levels cleaning them and fighting monsters you meet. There are four playable characters in Dustforce, however, they differ only in the appearance with slight stats’ changing. The goal of the game is to reach the other side of every level and kill enemies there. You can perform different moves, featuring jumping, climbing walls, several attacks and so on. The game places a heavy focus on timing so overcoming numerous obstacles become very challenging.
A New Beginning - Final Cut
A point-and-click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment, A New Beginning is a story of time travel and ecological cataclysms. Presented in-game future is dark, mostly due to the fact that life is possible only deep underground, in caves and crevices. In order to prevent the full extinction of all life forms of the face of the earth, some people invented the time machine that will help to locate the beginning of the chain of events that brought their world to ruin. Fay, one of the few time travelers, has to convince Bent Svenson, that his recent discovery of bacteria based biofuel is the only key to the survival of the planet in the future. New Beginning consists of 11 chapters, where the player will control Fay or Ben. It is not possible to switch between characters interactively, but the story and gameplay are direct and straightforward. Final Cut was brought to the Steam 3 times and met rejection because Valve Corp. considered their target audience not interested in the genre in general, but Daedalic Entertainment succeeded and brought the entire line of their products to the platform.
Painkiller Hell & Damnation
Painkiller Hell & Damnation is a first-person shooter, a remake of Painkiller, that continues its events. The game ignores almost all expansions to the original title, except for Battle Out of Hell. The remake got new monsters, changed game balance and a coop mode with a female teammate. The game introduces a brand new story. In the beginning Death makes a deal with the protagonist, Daniel Garner that she will return his dead wife in exchange for 7,000 souls. From this moment the action begins, as you get a huge magic gun and start killing hordes of monsters. In the core of the gameplay lays classic shooter mechanics; you can use multiple weapons, including brand new ones to defeat demons. The game consists of several chapters and original levels, each set in a unique landscape. Besides the campaign that can be completed alone or in a two-players co-op, there are several PvP modes, for example, survival and deathmatch for up to eight players.
The Unfinished Swan
"Sony exclusives are mostly story driven experiences and Unfinished Swan is no exception. It’s a first-person adventure game about a young boy named Monroe, who recently lost his mother, famous artist known for not finishing a painting, adding up to the number of her incomplete works. And out of all her works, Monroe is permitted to keep only one favorite, a swan with a missing neck. And one night he wakes up to see the swan escape, and after the short chase players will find themselves in a painted unfinished world, finding the missing swan. Over the course of the game, players will use a magic silver brush to spread the black paint over the blank and completely white environment, to locate a way to progress and solutions to puzzles, while the narrator tells a story of a Lonely King. Most of the environments and the painting tool are used to show players, that Unfinished Swan is more of a narrative experience, where puzzles are not stopping your progress entirely, but act as an obstacle. There is no active combat in the game, so the actions of the player will wholly dictate the pace and completion.

This PC version of the game has been many months in the making and has involved recreating almost every asset in the game from the ground up. Fireproof Games are a small independent team working in Guildford in the UK. We self-published our first game The Room in September 2012 and were stunned with both the critical success and our new-found fan-base, not to mention multiple international awards. The Room has changed our lives and we hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed making it.
McPixel
McPixel is a puzzle game developed by Polish developer Mikołaj Kamiński. The game serves as a parody of both MacGyver and MacGruber and features a lot of references to the modern pop culture. The objective of the game is to defuse a bomb located on the level in 20 seconds. The objective is referred to in the game as "save the day". The Protagonist defuses the bombs in ridiculous and absurd ways. For example, by kicking it. The players guide the main character, McPixel himself, by pointing and clicking at the screen. The game consists of four parts, which include three levels. It is possible to unlock a secret fourth level. Each level is composed of six sequences. There are multiple secrets and easter eggs hidden Throughout the levels. The game features several pixel filters, music that was typical for 8-bit games, and free downloadable content. A level editor is also provided by the developer.
Retro City Rampage DX
Retro City Rampage is a 2D action-adventure game with heavy focus on the parody of pop-culture, retro video games, and open-world action-adventure genre. The story follows The Player, a criminal who works for a crime syndicate. One day he steals a time-traveling telephone booth that sends him several decades into the future. Shortly after his time-machine breaks and now with the help of Doc Choc, a time-traveler and Emmett Brown parody, he seeks for the parts to repair the booth. The gameplay can be described as if original GTA was ported onto the 16-bit console. It mostly has a top-down perspective with several 2D side-scrolling transitions. The game is set in the big open city which player can freely explore. The game has many story missions, side missions and challenges. Like in GTA games, violent actions made by the player can attract police that would try to neutralize him. The wide a range of weapons and tools can be acquired in shops, as rewards or from enemies. The DX version was initially released for Nintendo 3DS via eShop. This version rebalanced weapons, has several gameplay tweaks and features the “prototype” version of the game which was first made as NES ROM.
I Am Alive
I Am Alive is an action game with survival elements set in the post-apocalyptic environment. You take on the role of Adam, who lost his wife and daughter during the earthquake in Chicago. Almost a year after the accident he starts looking for them around the semi-destroyed city. Like many survival games, I Am Alive includes resource management, crafting and fighting with other survivors over the loot. The unique parameter you need to take into account is Adam’s stamina: every action reduces his powers. The game provides an extensive combat system that features several weapon types and protection items along with the ability to frighten some enemies and to avoid the confrontation. All weapons you get at certain story points or completing special side quests. The gameplay combines the survival aspect with constant fights and the necessity to explore every piece of locations in order to find useful items. As a result, I Am Alive receives the features of a tactical action genre that expand the gaming experience you get.
The Silent Age
###Point-and-click quest The game is a typical representative of the point-and-click puzzle genre, developed and released in two episodes by the independent Danish studio House on Fire. The game uses the Unity graphics engine and was ported directly to several platforms. Including mobile devices running Android and iOS. The game also was released on Kindle Fire. The first episode was released in 2012, two years later, gamers were able to try out the second and last episode of the game. ###The plot The game takes place in 1972 and in 2012. The player takes control of the main character named Joe. After serving in the US Army, the protagonist changes several workplaces and eventually turns out to be a cleaner in the fictional multimillion corporation Archon. The employer turns out to be unclean, and Joe soon finds traces of blood that lead to test labs. To prevent the tragedy, which he involuntarily became a witness to, Joe is forced to use the time machine and correct mistakes of the past. ###The plot The main gameplay is tied to the solution of the puzzles of different complexity, scattered in ten story chapters. The part of them uses the plot “device” - the ability of the hero to travel in time. In the PC version, all game dialogs are voiced, the ability to use UltraHD textures is added, and for the version on Steam more than 20 achievements are available and the ability to save the game in the cloud.
Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut
Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut is a version of the game Lone Survivor, released as an addition to the game Lone Survivor. The hero is a person who turned out to be isolated from other people and therefore did not become infected with a virus that turned the remaining people into aggressive mutants. The hero leaves his apartment to explore neighboring apartments in search of food and other survivors. The hope to find other survivors is fueled by the messages found by the hero, which say that somewhere these survivors still exist. Mirrors serve as portals for getting into the apartment of the survivor and back. This apartment is a place where you can stay safe and sleep - it will allow the hero to keep mental health, otherwise he runs the risk of going insane. During sleep, the hero comes to dreams, and sometimes hallucinations. Their content depends on the type of sleeping pills that the hero takes. Hallucinations can visit the hero regardless of sleep and cheerfulness. Because of this, the same rooms can look quite differently during visits at different times. The hero (and the player), in general, quickly realize that with the adequacy of the perception of the hero something is very wrong. A flashlight helps to move forward, and mutants make it difficult to advance. They can be killed, but you can pass unnoticed by them. To kill mutants, the hero uses weapons. Sometimes progress is impossible without a special things that must be found. Depending on the choices and actions of the player, you can end the game with five different endings.
Star Trek Online
Star Trek Online is an MMORPG set in a universe shared with the TV Show of the same name. The is a total of 56 video game titles in the Star Trek series which are weakly connected with each other so Online may be considered as a standalone episode. The game is the first MMO in the intellectual property. ###Plot The game follows a storyline of Star Trek: Nemesis is set in 2049 and tells a story of a war between the Klingon Empire and the United Federation of Planets. There is a total of four free add-ons — each of them added fractions, maps, and story arcs, pushing the story forward and connecting it to the 2002 film and the other fragments of the franchise. ###Gameplay The players are taking the role of the spaceship operator. In this role as the captain, they can craft materials useful for the ship construction and modify it in various ways — for example, add modules so it would gain additional features. There is also a time-management feature to this game: not all processes are executed, so the player has to control his resources and account factor carefully to maximize the profits. The game transferred to the free-to-play model shortly after its release. Five years afterward it was remastered already in F2P model.
Happy Wars
Happy Wars is an online multiplayer role-playing strategy; it also features a campaign mode. The game consists of matches: two 15-layers teams try to destroy the opponent’s castle and protect their own. In Happy Wars you can choose between three types of characters: the warrior, the mage, and the cleric. They also have subclasses that define their specification. For example, Berserker is stronger than an ordinary warrior and more suitable for protecting lines. In general, every class has their unique abilities that can be upgraded with the in-game currency and real money. Wisely balanced teams have more chances to win battles. The key feature that differs Happy Wars from other MOBA-type games is that before you destroy your opponent’s base you need to build yours. Bases are equipped with multiple weapons so it’s hard to get close to the enemy rift. Besides the center, there are several control points; the most massive battles are usually held near them. However, the cartoonish style of the visuals makes such epic fights look funny, explaining the name of the game.
