Star Wars: Dark Forces
STAR WARS - Dark Forces uses the Jedi game engine which was developed for this game exclusively. At the time the game presented new features of first person shooter genre, one of which is the ability to look up and down and also it presented the new approach to level design with multiple floors. NiGHTS into dreams... is a platforming game developed by Sonic Team. It is the first project of the studio to be developed for the Sega Saturn system. It is also the first studio experiment of creating a 3D platformer. ###Plot Every night, two worlds of human dreams appear, named Nightopia and Nightmare. One day, two teens from Twin Seeds have a terrible day. That night, both of them end up in Nightmare, reliving that bad day, but later they escape into Nightopia. They unravel the Nightmare leader wants to destroy Nightopia and release Nights, who will assist them in their fight. ###Gameplay The levels of the game are two-dimensional, while its characters are three-dimensional. Upon spawning on the level, the protagonist gets attacked by Nightmarens who steal their spheres. The players have to transform into Nights and get all the spheres in a limited amount of time. After finding all the spheres, the player's performance is evaluated with a rank from A to F. After that. The players are taken over to Nightmare, where a boss fight happens. Ultimate Doom
The Ultimate Doom is a standalone expansion pack for Doom developed by id Software. Apart from the base game, it includes a completely new episode that continues the story of the game. ###Plot The game's plot seems loosely connected to the base game as id Software was busy with developing Quake. The simply players set out on a journey to kill off four guardians of hell. This episode serves as a prequel to Doom 2. ###Gameplay Minor additions were made to Doom's engine, as it now featured several Doom 2's engine features, such as the ability to use flickering lights and fast working doors. Apart from that, the game is still the base Doom. Players traverse vast levels killing any Hell creature they encounter on their way. A wide range of weapons is as the player's disposal, starting with a brass knuckle and finishing with an experimental energy weapon, BFG9000. The one and only objective of the player is to find the exit of the level. Sometimes a keycard is required to unlock the exit. Upon the completion of the level, the player's performance is evaluated and points are accumulated based on how fast did the player pass the level, how ruthless they did it, how many demons got killed and how many secrets were found. At the end of each episode, the players will encounter a Boss - a unique and powerful enemy that has to be defeated to complete the level.

Worms
Worms is a turn-based strategy game developed by Team17. It is the first installment of the Worms series of games. Worms is a two-dimensional game. The gameplay is similar to the strategies of the time, such as Scorched Earth. The player controls a team of four worms. The objective of the game is to eliminate the enemy team. The player and the AI take turns on which they control a randomly selected worm from their team. During each turn, the player can use any weapon available to them or change the position of a worm. Upon hitting a worm, it's health points are taken away. The worms die on two occasions: if their health points reach zero or they hit the water. The levels are interactive and their landscapes are destructible, which affects the gameplay. Players have access to a wide variety of weapons. Apart from RPGs, grenades, and UZI, the game features unusual weapons such as banana bombs or explosive sheep. During the game, weapon crates are dropped from the sky. Players also can use tools such as a blowtorch or a drill, that affect the landscape itself. It is possible to customize the games settings, such as the available weapons, the time limit of a turn and a round.
Master Levels for Doom II
Master Levels for Doom II is an expansion pack for an action FPS Doom II. Since it is a map pack, many developers were involved with ID Software releasing the maps to the public. The expansion pack features 21 maps (the 21st one is a secret map) with some of the maps offering their own story. ###Story maps Titan.wad There is a secret science building on Titan, which contains a mighty alien weapon. Get in, kill the guards, solve puzzles, get out. Cabal.wad Once upon a time, you were the biggest and the angriest cyberdemon in existence. You were the head of the council that ruled Hell, at least you were before you were betrayed. Go out there and get revenge. Inferno.wad After all the trouble you've gone through at the UAC facility, you've lost track of your girlfriend Beatrice. It's no mystery how you got separated with all the demons running around. Go back to Hell and get her out. ###Gameplay This expansion pack brought no changes to Doom II's gameplay. Every aspect of the game stayed largely the same. The main objective of Doom 2 is to find an exit off the level to continue to the next one, killing any demon you find on your way. Many weapons are at your disposal, such as a shotgun, a double-barrelled super-shotgun, and last, but not least, the iconic chainsaw. There is no health regen in the game. Instead, the players have to look for medkits on the level they are in at the moment.

The gameplay is divided into two parts: on the one hand, you built bases, develop your technology and upgrade the squad. On the other hand, you fight aliens during turn-based battles. As the game is set underwater, your weaponry is limited and you have to study new technologies to produce and improve it. Unlike in the previous title, in Terror From the Deep you can use melee combat along with guns and special devices. The game features various missions with different goals. Some of them include fights on several locations, the others are terror missions on huge map layouts.

Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995. Chrono Trigger's development team included three designers that Square dubbed the "Dream Team": Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Square's Final Fantasy series; Yuji Horii, a freelance designer and creator of Enix's popular Dragon Quest series; and Akira Toriyama, a manga artist famed for his work with Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball. Kazuhiko Aoki produced the game, Masato Kato wrote most of the plot, while composer Yasunori Mitsuda wrote most of the soundtrack before falling ill and deferring the remaining tracks to Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu. The game's story follows a group of adventurers who travel through time to prevent a global catastrophe. Square re-released a ported version by Tose in Japan for the PlayStation in 1999, later repackaged with a Final Fantasy IV port as Final Fantasy Chronicles in 2001 for the North American market. A slightly enhanced Chrono Trigger, again ported by Tose, was released for the Nintendo DS in North America and Japan in 2008, and PAL regions in 2009. Chrono Trigger was a critical and commercial success upon release, and is frequently cited as one of the best video games of all time. Nintendo Power magazine described aspects of Chrono Trigger as revolutionary, including its multiple endings, plot-related sidequests focusing on character development, unique battle system, and detailed graphics. Chrono Trigger was the third best-selling game of 1995, shipping over two million copies by March 2003. The Nintendo DS version sold 790,000 copies by March 2009. Chrono Trigger was also ported to i-mode mobile phones, Virtual Console, the PlayStation Network, iOS devices, Android devices, and Microsoft Windows.

The bleak landscape was obviously once home to a highly evolved civilization, with remnants of sophisticated architecture, advanced technology and an intricate network of underground tunnels. But no Cocytans. Who were the original inhabitants of this once rich empire-turned-wasteland? What are those apparitions that mysteriously appear from time to time? Why have Low, Robbins, and Brink been brought to this place? And how can Low keep his team from unraveling in the face of such uncertainty? To return to Earth, they must dig for answers, both on the planet’s surface and deep within themselves. Comix Zone
Comix Zone is a 1995 beat 'em up video game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. An unusual feature of the game is that it is set within the panels of a comic book with dialogue rendered within talk bubbles and sprites and backgrounds possessing the bright colours and dynamic drawing style favoured by superhero comics. This style had been used in video games previously, for example Ocean Software's Batman: The Caped Crusader in 1988, but Comix Zone stretched the idea to such an extent that Sega applied for and were granted a patent for a "Videogame system for creating a simulated comic book game". The concept for the game originated from a Commodore Amiga demo video animated by Peter Morawiec titled "Joe Pencil Trapped In The Comix Zone". The video was made in 1992, displaying the animation of how the gameplay and the comic book elements would blend in.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (UMK3) is a fighting video game in the Mortal Kombat series, developed and released by Midway to arcades in 1995. It is an update of 1995's earlier Mortal Kombat 3 with an altered gameplay system, additional characters like the returning favorites Kitana and Scorpion who were missing from Mortal Kombat 3, and some new features. Several home port versions of the game were soon released after the arcade original, although none were completely identical to the arcade version except for the Sega Saturn port. Some later home versions followed the arcade original with more accuracy. Some versions were released under different titles: Mortal Kombat Advance for the Game Boy Advance in 2001 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat for the Nintendo DS in 2007. The iOS version, recreating the game using a 3D graphics engine, was released by Electronic Arts in 2010. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was mostly well received and has been considered a high point for the Mortal Kombat series. However, the iOS remake and some other home versions were received poorly in comparison to the arcade game. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was updated to include more content from previous games in the series as Mortal Kombat Trilogy in 1996. The 2011 compilation Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection includes an emulation of UMK3 as well as the first Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II.

Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness
Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness is a fantasy-themed real-time strategy (RTS) game published by Blizzard Entertainment and first released for DOS in 1995 and for Mac OS in 1996. The main game, Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, earned enthusiastic reviews, won most of the major PC gaming awards in 1996, and sold over 2 million copies. Later in 1996 Blizzard released an expansion pack Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal for DOS and Mac OS, and a compilation Warcraft II: The Dark Saga for the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn. The Battle.net Edition, released in 1999, provided Blizzard's online gaming service, Battle.net, and replaced the MS-DOS version with a Windows one. Players must collect resources, and produce buildings and units in order to defeat an opponent in combat on the ground, in the air and in some maps at sea. The more advanced combat units are produced at the same buildings as the basic units but also need the assistance of other buildings, or must be produced at buildings that have prerequisite buildings. The majority of the main screen shows the part of the territory on which the player is currently operating, and the minimap can select another location to appear in the larger display. The fog of war completely hides all territory which the player has not explored. Terrain is always visible once revealed, but enemy units remain visible only so long as they stay within a friendly unit's visual radius. Warcraft II 's predecessor Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, released in 1994, gained good reviews, collected three awards and was a finalist for three others, and achieved solid commercial success. The game was the first typical RTS to be presented in a medieval setting and, by bringing multiplayer facilities to a wider audience, made this mode essential for future RTS titles. Warcraft: Orcs & Humans laid the ground for Blizzard's style of RTS, which emphasized personality and storyline. Although Blizzard's very successful StarCraft, first released in 1998, was set in a different universe, it was very similar to Warcraft II in gameplay and in attention to personality and storyline. In 1996 Blizzard announced Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans, an adventure game in the Warcraft universe, but canceled the game in 1998. Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, released in 2002, used parts of Warcraft Adventures' characters and storyline and extended the gameplay used in Warcraft II.

Wing Commander 4: The Price of Freedom
The year is 2673, four years after the Treaty of Torgo and the end of the Kilrathi War. As hostilities died out, more trivial concerns like rebuilding what was lost or dealing with space piracy, became the biggest concerns of the Terran Confederation. Even Christopher "Maverick" Blair, the famous Confed pilot responsible for ending the war, settled down and became a farmer. In these times of peace, humans grew fat and complacent. All good things must end, though. Soon enough, heinous incidents erupted on the outskirts of the Confederation, and humanity was forced to the brink of civil war. Confed HQ needed the best and decided to recall Colonel Blair to active duty. This is where you come in. Wing Commander™ 4 is one of the greatest space sims of all time, and some even consider it the greatest one of all. It is one of those games that did everything right. This is one of the few games that actually successfully manages to integrate a lot of FMV into the action, mostly because it uses trained film actors and directors. The combat is straightforward, fluid, and entertaining. The characters are as believable and memorable as they come. The orchestrated music -- just perfect. Finally, its enthralling story is both deep and plausible -- a combination that is often lost in modern games. There is simply no reason not to play this game and, once you do start playing, you will find it hard to think of a reason why you should stop. This version of Wing Commander™ 4: The Price of Freedom features DVD-quality cutscenes. Arguably the best installment of the Wing Commander™ series and one of the best space sims of all time. Enthralling and believable story, accompanied by great gameplay and fantastic orchestrated music. Hours of masterfully directed full-motion video with actors such as Mark Hamill and Malcolm McDowell.
