Zeliş and Cemal are neighbors. The two young people, who are in love with each other, dream of getting married. However, Zeliş's father, Recep, plans to marry her off to Bekir, one of the wealthy men in the village. Upon learning that Zeliş is in love with someone else, Bekir decides to kidnap her with the help of Fehmi. Zeliş and Cemal, who happen to find out about this plan, decide to run away.
