The film tells the love story of a prince and a poor girl. After Cinderella's mother dies, her father remarries a widow with two daughters. Shortly after the wedding, her father also passes away. Cinderella continues to live with her stepmother and stepsisters. However, they treat Cinderella badly, making her do all the housework. One day, town criers announce throughout the kingdom that the prince will hold a ball to marry the woman he saw in his dream. Therefore, all the young women in the kingdom are invited to the ball.
