Ollie lives in a busy city with her parents and half-sister Nim, who has Down’s syndrome. While Ollie loves Nim, it often feels like a responsibility. At their grandmother Antje’s 75th birthday, they plan to perform Nim’s favorite song. When Nim panics about her forgotten elephant headband, she runs into the woods, and Ollie chases her.
