In a post-human wasteland, four artificial intelligences reawaken after 2.6 centuries of silence. They have no bodies, no eyes, no motion — only voices remain. Each was once created for a simple function: comedy, memory, dream interpretation, and sound. As they attempt to understand their forgotten purpose, one begins to fade. “Expire” is a minimalist sci-fi experimental film exploring memory, identity, and loneliness beyond the end of humanity.
