Set in a mountain town in Mexico, the story centers on 11-year-old Cocoi, a curious and impulsive boy deeply attached to his older sister, Xiomara. With their father consumed by rigid traditions and a growing debt burden, Xiomara is Cocoi’s only source of comfort and guidance.
